Thanks for asking. My name is Brittany Gaddy and I've lived a life, mostly like others, but with my own experiences that have shaped my view of the world. I've taken risk, made choices both good and bad, and I want to share those experiences with the world; hence, ONE LIFE ONE TRUTH. One of the most pertinent things I've learned is that honesty will take you a long way in life. It's important to be honest with others but MORE important to be honest with oneself. Many times we have to go through heartache and pain before realizing this truth it is not always an easy task.
Helping people has always been my passion and I aim to break the stigma that therapy is for those with "Real" or "Crazy" issues. Mental Health is a serious ordeal and should not be portrayed as a stereotype or some type of negative stigma. Many people suffer through mental disorders without realizing that what they are "feeling" is normal and can be helped with the proper assistance.
I hold a M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I have over 15 years of public service experience with 11 years as a Sworn Law Enforcement Officer. I enjoy passing on the information I've learned in the form of free inspirations and just plain talk with everyday people. This allows me the freedom to work hand in hand with those in need to help build trust, rapport, and confidence without the uniformity of traditional counseling. But do not be confused:

Like the Ten Commandments, The Ten Truths were created as a a set of morals or guidelines to keep you going. Each line represents an experience that paved the road throughout my life. As stated, my life is not special. There is nothing unique about my experiences other than the fact that they happened. O.L.O.T. is not just my journey, but it can also be yours. O.L.O.T. revolves around having a true support system. That can be family, friend(s), or significant other. Relationships can play a huge role in how one chooses to ride in life. Love is hard. Love is complicated. Truth is, you can't truly love someone else until you love yourself. Feel free to ask me about it and subscribe, follow, and "like" through email, FB: and IG for more information.
100% TRUTH BEHIND THE BADGE. Being a black police officer is not easy. I thought I could handle the journey, but quite frankly, the road is extremely tough. Still, I rise and I fight. Join me on this journey to protect, serve, and educate.
